WIS-TV has a unique opportunity for a strong leader with a positive mindset to join our team. We are looking for a Multimedia Sales Manager who will work with our local sales team to achieve sales revenue goals as well as build and maintain client relationships utilizing our multi-platform advertising solutions. The Multimedia Sales Manager will lead, coach, and mentor a strong local sales team and help local and regional businesses grow with digital and broadcast strategies.
General Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with the management team to accomplish strategic company goals and station objectives.
* Motivate the local sales team so that digital and broadcast revenue goals are achieved.
* Manage, direct, and train to maximize the performance of a diverse team of local Account Executives.
* Negotiate ratings, rates, and budgets.
* Develop new business for the station utilizing and maximizing all station platforms including but not limited to broadcast, digital, mobile, and sponsorships.
*Assist in developing New Local Direct business utilizing all station platforms.
* Maintain professional working relationships with our clients.
* Maintain positive interaction with all WIS personnel.
* Interface with operational systems such as Wide Orbit, Matrix, etc.
* Oversee accounts receivable and credit policies.
* Assist in development of pricing packaging to fulfill the needs of both client and station.
* Assist in management of inventory.
* Maintain expert-level knowledge in available advertising products, while staying abreast of local market and national advertising trends
Qualifications:
* Minimum 3 years of experience in multimedia sales, with a proven track record of success.
* Previous management experience preferred.
* Effective leadership skills that include the ability to influence, train, and motivate individuals and teams.
* Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
* Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
* Proven ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
