SagamoreHill Broadcasting, a growing, debt free, privately held broadcast company is looking for an experienced television accounting professional.
Television background: Media sales, Media buying and placement and knowledge of television / broadcasting arena is a plus.
This person will be the SeniorAccountant at SagamoreHill as the Controller/Treasurer. This position requires the oversight, execution and maintenance of all accounting functions of the stations group witha broad set of duties; including but not limited to financial statement preparation, budgeting, reconciling all asset accounts, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and managing a small staff.
If you are looking for a Senior Accounting position where your voice will be heard regarding the direction of the company and enjoy the day-to-day work of closings, consolidating financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, bank relationships, audit relationships, spreadsheet analysis – to name a few of the duties – and all along assisting the President on future opportunities, then this challenge may be for you.
Minimum Requirements include a Bachelor of Accountancy degree or higher; a minimum of 5 years broadcasting experience; expertise on Microsoft Office Products; minimum of 5 years managerial experience; familiarity with traffic systems and other broadcast and accounting software. Some limited travel is required. Applicants must be self-directed and deadline oriented.
