Requirements: Monitors phones, e-mail, AP Wire, SCEMD, appropriate apps, internet and other social media, etc. for any and all information pertaining but not limited to South Carolina Public Radio in the case of an emergency situation.  During times of non-emergency must keep up with current news situations.  Develops relationships with and follows leads from news agencies, the police, the public, press conferences and other statewide sources. Responsible for keeping track of all productions you produce in a manner that is accessible and kept up to date at all times.  All pertinent information is listed but not limited to the productions including date produced, topic and length.  Provide material to post on social media pertaining to South Carolina Public Radio and may be called upon to post material.
