Requirements: Experience: WPDE is looking for a talented and creative Digital Content Editor with an ability to learn and to teach new systems in a fast-paced publishing environment. Online reporting should be your passion. The ideal candidate needs to understand how quickly news movies on digital, mobile and social platforms. Responsibilities include: • Assist in selection of content on WPDE’s digital, mobile and social platforms • Expertise in publishing LIVE content on all platforms in a lightning-quick manner • Ability to react to and post breaking news quickly and accurately is a core expectation of this position • Mastery of daily news aggregation from around the web, and editing of wire service content • Produce and edit multimedia elements for online stories • Research, report and write original stories • Monitor analytics to measure story performance • Use analytics to dictate story selection • Carry the station’s brand to the next level while working alongside the marketing and sales department • Operate the assignment desk on the weekends • Other duties as assigned Qualifications: • BA/BS degree or equivalent (Degree in journalism or related field strongly preferred). • Experience in online journalism preferred • Excellent writing skills and knowledge of AP style required • Strong understanding of content usage rights management and restrictions • Basic HTML knowledge required • Experience with Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and other social media platforms • Must be self-motivating and able to work well with a diverse group of people • Must be able to handle stress, including short deadlines • Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal • Excellent organizational and critical thinking skills Requirements: Required skills and qualifications include, but are not limited to: • commitment to journalistic standards of ethics and accuracy • ability to communicate effectively • basic computer knowledge/word processing skills • general knowledge and interest in local, national and world news • ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines • proficiency with Facebook, Twitter and emerging social media A Bachelor’s degree with a major in journalism is also preferred. This position is full-time and will require working a flexible schedule that includes nights, weekends and holidays.

Requirements: Experience: WACH has a great new opportunity for a television Graphic Designer/Animator/Producer. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects. Knowledge of Cinema 4D or other 3D software is a plus, but not required. The primary task will be to support digital sales by creating client web banners, email blasts, and logos. The candidate will prepare motion and static graphics for on-air promotions spots, sports programs, and client commercials.
